The coronavirus pandemic is having a huge impact on all aspects of life and it’s already making its way into pop culture.

Usually it’s difficult to find the famous Where’s Wally (or Waldo in the US) in the puzzle, but with everyone social distancing in the latest cartoon, he’s much easier to find.

In the standard books, Wally is pictured in busy crowds and you have to search the picture to find him wearing his classic red and white top, bobble and jeans.

But for the coronavirus edition, the original cartoon created by Martin Handford, was recreated by Clay Bennett to show him walking the streets at an appropriate distance from other people.

Further images were posted on Instagram by @Pedrola – a creative art director at David the Agency.

Of course, we all want to scream ‘stay home Waldo’ but maybe he is following the advice to get some exercise and take the proper precautions.

The book isn’t actually available to buy but it was posted on Reddit and at least it provided some amusement for some people in these difficult days.

One person said: ‘Wally needs to go home and limit his exposure to only Wenda and woof.’

Another added: ‘This made me laugh so hard. I was passing time at work today looking at a Where’s Waldo book.’

‘Thank you. I seriously needed that laugh. This whole thing just suddenly started getting to me,’ someone else said.

But even without the crowds, many joked that they still couldn’t find him.

‘And for some reason it still takes 20 minutes to find the guy lol!!’ another post said.
